I defiantly recommend you to try traditional dishes like: placinte(cottage cheese and cabbage pies), sarmale(meat rolls), tochitura moldoveneasca, ciorba taraneasca(peasant’s soup) that will perfectly go with Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir chosen from famous wineries like Purcari, Milestii Mici, Cricova, Ialoveni,Cojusna.
You can find this variety of traditional dishes and drinks at: Orasul Vechi, Vinoteca, La Taifas, Casa Vinului and plenty other restaurants.
After a good sumptuous meal you can take a walk in central park and see the great statue of Stefan cel Mare and the Alley of classics,“Christ Birth” cathedral and Triumphal Arch which is situated in other great park across the street, or you can go to a play at Mihai Eminescu National Theater or at Opera and Ballet Theater.
The night life in Chisinau is pretty intense in pubs and night clubs like People, Military Pub, Déjà vu, Drive, Decadence Club were you will find very good music, entertaining Dj’s and barmen’s , plenty of interesting drinks and a lot of beautiful and glamorous girls.
